Community Involvement

We love our community!

We are so proud to be a part of the Oklahoma City community! We understand the importance of community partnerships and community service, and we hope you will join us in supporting these great organizations. They are the lifeblood of the OKC community and fulfill many vital roles to ensure we have comprehensive, sustaining, resourceful, and accessible services for all citizens within our community. Each of them are essential to current and future viability of Oklahoma City.

Santa’s Cause, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is an all-volunteer organization providing an anonymous response to children’s letters to Santa that would otherwise go unanswered. Youth For Christ

Since 1944, we’ve had an unwavering commitment to meet 11-19 year olds in pivotal moments, and to introduce them to the hope of Christ. From holding rallies with Billy Graham in the 40’s, to entering campuses to reach students in the 60’s, to now empowering community leaders to build meaningful relationships with young people everywhere—it’s our aim to walk with young people through their story, and to be the friend and mentor that we’ve longed for ourselves.

Catholic Charities

In 1912, the groundwork for Catholic Charities was laid with the founding of St. Joseph’s Orphanage. In the following years, other institutions were opened to serve children, families and other people in need. Among these were a boardinghouse for young working women, a maternity home and St. Ann’s Home for the Elderly.

In 1927, Catholic Charities expanded its services to include adoption, foster care and pregnancy counseling. Its mission was to make Christ’s love for all human beings a visible and living reality for those in need.
