Personal Banker

Quail Creek Bank is seeking an outgoing, customer‑focused professional to join our team as a Personal Banker. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent service, and helping customers find the right banking solutions to meet their needs.

Position Summary

The Personal Banker provides efficient and courteous customer service while proactively cross‑selling bank products and services to generate new business. This position plays a key role in supporting both new and existing customers through account servicing and relationship management.

Essential Functions

  • Cross‑sell all bank products and services.
  • Interview prospective customers to open new accounts; explain available products and services, and provide all required disclosures.
  • Complete all forms and documentation related to new accounts and account maintenance, including signature cards, check orders, debit cards, and e‑banking services.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all bank products to accurately answer questions and open all account types offered by the bank.
  • Input customer information into the bank’s core system, new account platform, and other applicable software for account opening or maintenance.
  • Follow up with customers regarding pending items for new or existing accounts.
  • Ensure all Customer Identification Program (CIP) documentation is obtained and properly filed in a timely manner.
  • Manage customer service requests for new, existing, and closed accounts.
  • Assist customers with entry to and exit from the safe deposit box vault.
  • Perform account input and daily balancing as required.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established bank policies and procedures.
  • Work the required number of hours; overtime may be required when necessary.
  • Comply with all bank policies, including the proper reporting of potential harassment or bullying, whether as a victim or a witness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong sales and cross‑selling abilities.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage checklists or systems to ensure timely task completion.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal banking regulations.

Training and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to two years of experience in a financial institution is preferred.
