A wire transfer, also known as a bank wire, is an electronic transfer from one financial institution to another. It’s a safe and effective way to directly send money from your Quail Creek Bank account to someone else. Here are some key features of a wire transfer:
- Move funds safely – nothing gets lost in the mail
- Schedule an outgoing wire transfer of funds or arrange for an incoming wire transfer from another financial institution
- Only authorized individuals can initiate domestic wires in person, or by phone with prior authorization
- All international wires must be initiated in person
- Outgoing Domestic Wire Transfers – $20 per wire
- Outgoing International Wire Transfers – $55 per wire
- All incoming wires – $10 per wire
How to Send a Wire Transfer
- Complete a wire transfer form (Required to transfer money from Quail Creek Bank to another financial institution)
- Funds must be collected in your account before initiating an outgoing transfer
- Present the completed outgoing wire transfer form in-person to a member of our wire department team
How to Receive a Wire Transfer
To ensure you receive funds sent to you through a wire transfer, you may be required to provide the sender with incoming wire instructions:
