Mark began his banking career in 1990 in mortgage collections and then became a portfolio manager for eleven mortgage loan officers. In addition to banking, Mark simultaneously started two inflatables companies, Dawn to Dusk Inflatables and Bouncin’ Craze. In 1996, he joined Quail Creek Bank working part-time in customer service, doing end of day and statement processing for eleven years. Later this turned into a full-time role working both in new accounts and customer service. As the bank grew and now had two side-by-side buildings, building maintenance had become quite time-consuming for the HR manager who held that responsibility. Thus, the first-ever Facilities Manager position was created, and Mark was an excellent fit. Mark is constantly scheduling repairs, remodels, service calls, and keeping the bank buildings and equipment running smoothly.
Mark has three children, one stepson, two grandchildren, and an amazing wife. Mark and his wife, Jennifer, met at Quail Creek Bank as coworkers and became friends. It wasn’t until 20 years later they began to date and eventually married. Mark is the lead sound technician at his church, and he also recently obtained an Associates of Arts in Christian Ministry.
