As we enter 2026, we’re proud to reflect on the team members who joined us in 2025 who do just that: Vanessa E and Joshua T.
Though their roles support very different areas of the bank, both Vanessa and Josh share something important in common: a genuine appreciation for teamwork, service, and the people who make Quail Creek Bank feel like home.
Experience, Partnership, and a Passion for Service
Vanessa joined Quail Creek Bank on July 21 as a Loan Assistant, bringing with her nearly two decades of banking experience. In her role, Vanessa assists with loan processing and supports the lending team, helping ensure each step of the loan process is handled with care, accuracy, and attention to detail.
One of the things Vanessa is most excited about is the opportunity to once again work alongside Loan Officer Stuart W, a partnership built over many years in the industry. That familiarity, paired with her extensive background in banking, allows her to hit the ground running while continuing to build strong relationships with both coworkers and customers.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys unwinding with a good audiobook, catching up on her favorite shows on Netflix, and spending time with her husband, David, and their two children, Gabe and Emma. She also lives by a favorite quote that reflects her outlook on both life and work: “Life is a garden, dig it.”
When asked what she enjoys most about Quail Creek Bank so far, Vanessa’s answer is simple: and meaningful: the people she gets to work with every day.
Keeping Things Running Smoothly Behind the Scenes
Joining the Quail Creek Bank team on July 31, Joshua stepped into the role of Facilities Manager, where he helps ensure the bank’s spaces operate efficiently, safely, and seamlessly for both employees and customers. While much of his work happens behind the scenes, it plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations across the bank.
Josh brings a unique background and a wide range of interests to the role. He met his wife, Sunny, while living in China, and together they’re raising their three sons: Jayden, Jaxsen, and Jazper. Outside of work, Josh is also the owner of a trendy lounge and café in Oklahoma City, a creative outlet that reflects his entrepreneurial spirit.
A lifelong music lover, Josh can play a variety of instruments and enjoys staying busy with his family through travel, sports, and exploring new cultures. Despite juggling many interests, he’s already found his footing at QCB, noting that his favorite part of the job so far is the people and the culture.
Building the Future, Together
Vanessa and Josh may work in different areas of the bank, but both bring experience, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of connection to the Quail Creek Bank team. We’re proud to have them on board and look forward to the impact they’ll continue to make as they grow in their roles.
