John celebrates 30 years with Quail Creek Bank!
John began his banking career in 1981, in the management trainee program of a large, downtown Oklahoma City Bank that introduced him to multiple facets of the banking industry. Since completing the requirements of the trainee program in mid-1983, John’s banking career has included lending to metropolitan businesses, consumers, loans to assist in the purchase of investment real estate and some energy company lending. He also served as manager for Asset Based Lending Control, and ORE Disposition. Quail Creek Bank is privileged to have been “home” to John since 1993 where he spent 20 years as a Vice President/Senior Vice President in Commercial Loans, prior to joining QCB’s executive staff as the Chief Executive Lender in 2013.
Born and raised in Canada, John ventured south to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma Baptist University where he met the love of his life, Karalee, thus becoming a permanent Okie. Together, they have three children, all of whom are married and have now blessed John and Karalee with the titles Papa and Nana to three fabulous grandchildren. Their favorite activities include spending time with the family at their lake house on Eufaula, enjoying time boating, skiing, tubing & swimming. John and all his family have a long and lasting love for music. He has played piano and keyboard for their church family for many years.
