IRS Scams

Don't Become A Victim

You receive a phone call, text, or email from a supposed IRS Agent stating you owe back taxes and you are past due. They may even threaten to send local law enforcement to arrest you for lack of payment. This is likely a scam, particularly if you’ve not received direct communications from the IRS via US Mail as nearly all of their communications are handled through the US Postal Service.
